News

December 6 - Australia beats South Africa in the Under 18 Ladies Division 43 -34 after losing to the South African's twice in the round games and also the ended one game in a draw.
                         Australia beats South Africa in the Over 30 Mixed Division 65 -34.  They went through the whole competition undefeated cementing their dominance in this division over the last couple of years.
                         Australia beats South Africa in the Over 30 Ladies Division 46 -31.  They went through the whole competition undefeated like the Mixed team reinforcing their dominance in this division over the last couple of years.

December 2 - Competition Commences

November 25 - Teams Depart Australia for South Africa

May 5 - David Shorrocks announced as Australian trainer.

May 5 - Australian squads announced at Aged Nationals presentation dinner on the Gold Coast.

Tournament Details

The 2006 W.I.N.A. Aged Division Tri-Series between South Africa, Australia and England will feature teams from three divisions:
- 18 and Under Ladies
- 30 and Over Ladies
- 30 and Over Mixed

The tournament will be played over four days (December 2-5) at Nelspruit Netball Arena, located in Old Pretoria Road, Metro Building, Nelspruit, SOUTH AFRICA. The Opening Ceremony is to be held on Sunday, December 2.

2001

The Indoor Netball World Cup was first run in 2001 in Queensland, Australia. All four nations in the World Indoor Netball Association (WINA), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and England contested this historic event. The 2001 tournament was held with three divisions; Mixed, Mens and Ladies.

2003

The second ever Indoor Netball World Cup was held in 2003 in New Zealand. Unfortunately England were unable to compete in this event and only Australia, New Zealand and South Africa were involved. The 2003 World Cup saw the introduction of a fourth division, 21 and under Ladies – which has since been adopted at all open level tournaments in Australia due to its success.
