                                                     AUSTRALIAN SIDES RETURN UNDEFEATED

Indoor Netball Australia is proud to announce that all four Australian Eclipse side's have returned home victorious following their tour of South Africa. Further to this the side's all managed to stay undefeated throughout the week.

April 24 - Australian Squad departs Johannesburg.

April 22 - Congratulations to the four Australian players who have just been announced as the player's of the tournament. The four were:
Nikki McCallum (21s)
Emily Keenan (Ladies)
Richard Lake (Men's)
Darren Jenkins (Mixed)

April 22 - The final tests were played this afternoon at the Benoni arena. Australia has clean sweeped each of the divisions 5-nil. Indoor Netball Australia congratulates all of the players and officials for a tremendous tournament.

April 18-21 - The Test Series has commenced with the first 4 test for each grade played over the past 4 days. Australia heads into the final tests undefeated.

April 17 - All 4 Australian sides played two warm up fixtures today against Gauteng Provincial sides. For all results please click the Results link.

April 15 - The Australian teams arrived in Johannesburg yesterday and have just completed their first training run at the Action Sports Sandton arena. Sunday (April 16) will be a rest day with the squad set to visit Pilanesburg National Park and Sun City.

March 21 - Ryan Faulks, Paul Mathison and Gavin Sanders have been called up into the Australian Open Men's side.

Tournament Details

The 2006 W.I.N.A. Test Series between South Africa and Australia will feature teams from four divisions:
- 21 and Under Ladies
- Open Ladies
- Open Men's
- Open Mixed

The tournament will be played over five days (April 18-22) in Action Sports arena's throughout Johannesburg in the South African province of Gauteng. Additional information can be found through the Action Sports website and follow the links to Action Netball.

WINA World Cup
2001

The Indoor Netball World Cup was first run in 2001 in Queensland, Australia. All four nations in the World Indoor Netball Association (WINA), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and England contested this historic event. The 2001 tournament was held with three divisions; Mixed, Mens and Ladies.

2003

The second ever Indoor Netball World Cup was held in 2003 in New Zealand. Unfortunately England were unable to compete in this event and only Australia, New Zealand and South Africa were involved. The 2003 World Cup saw the introduction of a fourth division, 21 and under Ladies – which has since been adopted at all open level tournaments in Australia due to its success.

In 1999 England hosted the Indoor Netball tri-series which was contested between England, Australian and New Zealand over 3 divisions.
